Hear We Art™ is ILA Creative Studio’s interactive and educational art experience fusing visuals and sound for an immersive community gathering. This unique experience allows us to connect with community members in an intimate setting—building awareness around cognitive skill-building while engaging attendees with local teaching artists.
In partnership with Night Out in the Parks and the Chicago Park District, and co-hosted by the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), this special Hear We Art™ session is curated specifically for educators throughout Chicagoland. We recognize the unique challenges educators face and honor their vital role by offering a space to reflect, recharge, and reconnect through guided visual arts, healing music, and wellness dialogue.
Facilitated by Chicago-based artist Edo and featuring sounds by SAM THOUSAND and Jay Taylor, this experience is designed to offer restorative creative tools, emotional support, and space for self-expression.
We’ll be outdoors—so we encourage you to bring a water bottle, blanket, or anything else you need to feel comfortable and grounded as we create together in community.
By participating, attendees can cultivate greater self-awareness, strengthen community connections, and process emotion through creative exploration—all while surrounded by nature, music, and shared purpose.
